Xavier McGee known as Chef X is truly a culinary pioneer who had aspirations of becoming a celebrity chef known for superior service, everlasting impressions, and food inspired from the heart. Born and raised in Mississippi, southern cuisine runs deep in his soul. His grandparents were a huge inspiration and gave him the understanding of delicious food and great hospitality. Family restaurants and holiday gatherings were a major influence that drove his passion.
The love of food runs so deep that he later continued his studies at Virginia State University to capture the business aspect of his craft. This opened doors to endless opportunities to elevate his career. From working as a freshman at chain restaurants to being hired at some of the most prestigious restaurants by his senior year in college. Through persistence and dedication, he was able to work for companies such as the Omni Hotel, Phillip Morris USA, Washington Redskins, and Aramark. With the heart of an entrepreneur and putting God first, Chef X left the corporate industry and developed his own concept as a “Personal Chef”. From Sunday dinners in his college dorm to traveling all over the country, Chef X has developed a name for himself and a brand that has elevated in the industry.
He is now continuing his culinary journey as a Personal Celebrity Chef in the Atlanta area. Cooking for entertainers and professional athletes such as: Cedric the Entertainer, The dReam Center Pastor William Murphy, Atlanta Falcons Players, Bloody Jay, YFN Lucci, Megan the Stallion, Jason Weaver, Rick Ross, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Stars, PnB Rock, Trina, and many others.
